About Lindsay

I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology from North Carolina Wesleyan College and obtained her Masters in Social Work from North Carolina State University (NCSU). I completed my first internship at Holly Hill Hospital where I worked with adolescents and adults with a range of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. I finished up my graduate career completing an internship at NCSU’s Counseling Center where I provided individual and group counseling. Following graduation, I have worked at an eating disorder hospital aiding in the collaboration of patient care and group counseling while seeing clients in private practice.
My therapeutic approach tends to be eclectic pulling from a range of theotetical models in an effort to tailor treatment to each client's needs. I regularly use an approach/therapy oriented with the following:
